Friday, September 19 – 8:45pm CEST – Groupama Stadium
Lyon have started with three wins from four, and two home clean sheets point to control in Lyon. Angers have been competitive but low-event so far with just three goals scored in four—hardly the profile to overwhelm away. Lyon have won the last five league meetings, including 2–0 and 3–0 last season. That combination makes Lyon to win the sensible side.
Saturday, September 20 – 5pm CEST – Stade de la Beaujoire
Rennes are 2-1-1 through four, capped by a convincing 3–1 over Lyon on September 14 in which they outshot them 23–8—clear attacking volume that travels. Nantes, meanwhile, have scored just one goal across their first four. Throw in the fact Rennes have won this fixture 15 of the last 25 times, and it points to another win for the visitors.
Saturday, September 20 – 7pm CEST – Stade Francis-Le Blé
Brest home games are already chaotic – 3–3 and 1–2 at Stade Francis-Le Blé – and they haven’t kept a clean sheet in five straight across competitions. Nice’s only league trip finished 3–1, and their recent head-to-head ceiling here is sky-high after a 6–0 win in May. Put that together with Brest’s defensive wobble and Nice’s threat in transition, an early goal should turn this into a shootout.
Saturday, September 20 – 9:05pm CEST – Stade Bollaert-Delelis
Lille’s league games have already gone off the charts — a 3–3 at Brest and a 7–1 away win at Lorient — showing huge game-state volatility and shot volume. Lens at Bollaert-Delelis has been lively too, with their only home league match finishing 3–1 against Brest. Add in Lille’s recent history of high-scoring shootouts and the Derby du Nord shapes as another high-scoring affair.
Sunday, September 21 – 3pm CEST – Stade Jean-Bouin
Paris FC have got momentum after a 2–1 away win at Brest, while Strasbourg needed a 90’+2 penalty to edge Le Havre and finished with 10 men. With Ilan Kebbal in sharp early-season form and home advantage, the hosts should have too many answers for Strasbourg.
Sunday, September 21 – 5:15pm CEST – Stade Océane
Le Havre look the one be with at home having disposed of Nice 3-1 in their last home fixture. Lorient arrive off a 4–0 hammering at Marseille that featured a 10′ red card for Darlin Yongwa, and now face a quick turnaround on the road. With the match at Stade Océane and against a newly promoted opponent still bedding into Ligue 1, the hosts rate a value play with top sports betting sites.
Sunday, September 21 – 5:15pm CEST – Stade de l’Abbé-Deschamps
Auxerre’s home games have both been one-goal affairs so far this season, whilst Toulouse’s away form is similarly tight: a 1–0 win at Nice followed by a narrow 2–1 loss at Lille. With not much seperating these two teams on paper, it’d be no shock to see this end in a stalemate.
Sunday, September 21 – 5:15pm CEST – Stade Louis-II
Monaco look set to clear a big line when they welcome Metz on Sunday. They’ve scored three in both home league games so far at Stade Louis-II. Newly promoted Metz have been porous: 3–0 at Lyon, 3–2 at Paris FC, and only 1–1 at home to Angers. The recent matchup ceiling is there too—Monaco smashed Metz 5–2 last time they met in Ligue 1.
Sunday, September 21 – 8:45pm CEST – Orange Vélodrome
Marseille’s Vélodrome games have been filled with goals to start the season: 5–2 against Paris FC and 4–0 against Lorient. PSG bring fireworks too, smashing Toulouse 6–3 away and then Atalanta 4–0 in midweek in the Champions League. With both attacks in rhythm, an early strike should open the tap for a five-goal total at a big price.
