NFL Week 6 betting tips:
All games in parlay are on Sunday, October 14
Pittsburgh Steelers to cover +2.5 at -111.11
New England Patriots to cover -3.5 at -111.11
Rams vs. Broncos Over 52.5 at -111.11
Combined parlay total at +470 with 888 Sportsbook
Leg 1 – Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
While the Bengals are at 4-1 and atop the AFC North and have won two in a row they have lost their last four games facing the Steelers. On top of that Pittsburgh, who have disappointed this season, is coming off their best game of the season where they put up 48 points in a blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons.
The Steelers defense has been the big issue on the season, but that defense was pretty solid in their last game facing the Falcons where they only gave up 17 points and played great against the run.
Cincinnati ranks fourth in the league in points per game and they have weapons with the likes of Andy Dalton, A.J. Green, and Joe Mixon, who has run the ball well in the three games he has played, but still has a lingering knee problem, which is why he is listed as questionable for this big AFC North contest.
Pittsburgh will continue their dominance over the Bengals in this game not only winning their fifth in a row over Cincy, but also covering the spread.
Tip: Pittsburgh Steelers to cover (+2.5) at -111.11 with Bovada
Leg 2 – Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots
The Chiefs are undefeated and they were impressive in their last game beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-14 in their last game. Patrick Mahomes tossed his first picks (2) in the Jags’ win and the defense played solid after being less than stellar in their first few games.
The Patriots have won two straight where they scored 38 points in each win. Tom Brady has played pretty well, but so has the run game and the defense has as well ranking a legitimate ninth in the league in points allowed per game.
The Chiefs are not only 5-0, but they have covered the spread in every game and in last season’s opening game they beat the Patriots in New England. Don’t look for that to happen again this Sunday night.
The Pats will put the red-hot Chiefs in the cooler in this game, as Tom Brady will lead the Patriots to their 3rd straight win and sending Kansas City to their first loss of the season.
Tip: New England Patriots to cover (-3.5) at -111.11 with Bovada
Leg 3 -L.A. Rams vs. Denver Broncos
The Rams are en fuego undefeated and they are the second highest scoring team in the league. Jared Goff is close to establishing himself as an elite quarterback and Todd Gurley ranks second in the league in rushing yards. Their defense has been solid, but they did give up 31 points in their last game in a 33-31 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
The Broncos started the season winning their first two games, but they have dropped three straight. They have given up an average of nearly 30 points per game in their last three games and that is not good with the Rams coming to town.
This game is an easy pick with the Over, as the Rams will light it up and the Broncos will put points up in what should be a shootout in Denver.
Tip: Over 52.5 points at -111.11 with Bovada
