Here’s your full NFL Week 1 preview with best bets, expert picks, and value plays.

Dallas Cowboys v Philadelphia Eagles

Thursday, September 4 – 8:20pm ET – Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia

The Eagles begin their title defense against a Cowboys team missing several key starters, including Micah Parsons after his stunning preseason trade. With Saquon Barkley now in the mix and Jalen Hurts leading one of the league’s deepest offenses, Philly should dominate the trenches as deserving favorites with the top online betting sites. Dallas will struggle to contain the Eagles’ run-pass balance on the road. This could get ugly in front of a fired-up home crowd.

Philadelphia Eagles -8.5

Kansas City Chiefs v Los Angeles Chargers

Friday, September 5 – 8pm ET – Arena Corinthians, São Paulo

The NFL heads to Brazil for the first time as Patrick Mahomes leads the Chiefs into São Paulo. Kansas City swept the Chargers in 2024 and enter this season with a more balanced attack, while LA’s O-line remains suspect after losing Rashawn Slater. Justin Herbert will have to scramble early and often behind a shaky front. Look for KC’s defense to back up a strong Mahomes outing with multiple sacks and a win.

Kansas City Chiefs -3.5

New York Giants v Washington Commanders

Sunday, September 7 – 1pm ET – FedEx Field, Maryland

Rookie QB Jayden Daniels gets his first taste of NFL action against a relentless Giants front led by Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns. Both teams enter with question marks on offense, particularly in the passing game. Expect a slow, grind-it-out contest with plenty of punts and third-down struggles. The under looks like the safest play in a game that could be decided by a single turnover.

Carolina Panthers v Jacksonville Jaguars

Sunday, September 7 – 1pm ET – EverBank Stadium, Jacksonville

Defensively, these two teams were among the worst in 2024. Trevor Lawrence has a full complement of weapons and should carve up a Panthers secondary still trying to find its identity. Bryce Young will need to push the tempo just to keep pace. With fireworks expected on both sides, the over is the sharp play.

Pittsburgh Steelers v New York Jets

Sunday, September 7 – 1pm ET – MetLife Stadium, New York

Aaron Rodgers returns to lead the Jets after a full offseason, but Pittsburgh’s defense under Mike Tomlin is always ready to spoil the party. Both offenses remain inconsistent heading into Week 1, and this has all the makings of a low-scoring chess match.

Las Vegas Raiders v New England Patriots

Sunday, September 7 – 1pm ET – Gillette Stadium, Foxborough

The Patriots enter the season with a rookie-heavy offense and major question marks at quarterback. The Raiders, under Pete Carroll, bring a revitalized offensive philosophy with Geno Smith under center. Both defenses could struggle to adjust to the tempo, making this a sneaky high-scoring affair.

Arizona Cardinals v New Orleans Saints

Sunday, September 7 – 1pm ET – Caesars Superdome, New Orleans

Kyler Murray is back and fully fit for the Cardinals, now armed with top rookie Marvin Harrison Jr., who is expected to be a red-zone magnet from Day 1. The Saints’ aging secondary was exposed at times last season and could be in for a rough night against Arizona’s speed. Harrison has been heavily featured in red-zone sets throughout preseason, so look for Murray to target him early and often.

Cincinnati Bengals v Cleveland Browns

Sunday, September 7 – 1pm ET – Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland

Historically, Joe Burrow has struggled in Week 1, but this could be the year he bucks that trend against a Browns defense with depth concerns. The Bengals are loaded with skill-position talent and return one of the league’s best pass-blocking units. Cleveland’s offense, meanwhile, remains inconsistent, with questions still swirling around Deshaun Watson. Cincy should do enough to cover on the road.

Cincinnati Bengals -4.5

Miami Dolphins v Indianapolis Colts

Sunday, September 7 – 1pm ET – Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis

Injuries have plagued the Dolphins throughout camp, especially on the offensive line and in the secondary. Still, Mike McDaniel’s system thrives on speed and precision, and Tua Tagovailoa will be looking to get the ball out quickly. The Colts will lean heavily on their run game, but that may not be enough to hold off a Dolphins squad still brimming with explosiveness.

Miami Dolphins to win

Tampa Bay Buccaneers v Atlanta Falcons

Sunday, September 7 – 1pm ET – Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta

The Buccaneers enter without several key starters on defense, putting even more pressure on Baker Mayfield to deliver early. Mike Evans remains a go-to weapon in the red zone and has consistently torched Atlanta in past meetings. The Falcons may control time of possession with their rushing attack, but big plays could come from Tampa’s passing game. Evans to score is great value in what could be a back-and-forth affair.

Tennessee Titans v Denver Broncos

Sunday, September 7 – 4:05pm ET – Empower Field at Mile High, Denver

Denver’s defense is among the NFL’s best at generating pressure, which spells trouble for Titans QB Cam Ward in his first NFL start. The altitude won’t help Tennessee either, especially if their offense struggles to stay on the field. Sean Payton has his team playing disciplined football, and Russell Wilson looks rejuvenated. The Broncos should win comfortably in front of their home crowd.

Denver Broncos -7.5

San Francisco 49ers v Seattle Seahawks

Sunday, September 7 – 4:05pm ET – Lumen Field, Seattle

The Seahawks have historically played the 49ers tough at home, and this year they come in with a top-10 defense and major upside in the secondary. San Francisco’s offense could be limited early with key injuries still lingering and Brock Purdy working back to full strength. With Seattle’s pass rush tipped to keep things uncomfortable for the Niners, this has all the ingredients for a surprise home win.

Seattle Seahawks to win

Detroit Lions v Green Bay Packers

Sunday, September 7 – 4:25pm ET – Lambeau Field, Green Bay

This NFC North rivalry has turned into must-watch TV, and both teams are stacked with offensive firepower. Packers QB Jordan Love looked sharp in the preseason, and Jared Goff has plenty of weapons to work with in Detroit. Even with Detroit’s defensive upgrades, this game feels like a shootout.

Houston Texans v Los Angeles Rams

Sunday, September 7 – 4:25pm ET – SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles

The Rams’ offensive line is a concern, and Matthew Stafford’s durability will be tested early by a Texans front led by Will Anderson Jr. Houston’s offense is still developing, but they have the tools to stay competitive. Still, the return of Cooper Kupp gives Stafford a reliable red-zone option. LA should edge this at home with better execution down the stretch.

Los Angeles Rams to win

Baltimore Ravens v Buffalo Bills

Sunday, September 7 – 8:20pm ET – Highmark Stadium, Buffalo

The Bills are nearly unbeatable at home in primetime, and Josh Allen thrives under the lights. Buffalo’s defense has had success containing Lamar Jackson in recent meetings, and they’ll aim to limit big plays again. Baltimore’s revamped wide-receiver corps could make things interesting, but the edge still lies with the home team.

Buffalo Bills to win

Minnesota Vikings v Chicago Bears

Monday, September 8 – 8:15pm ET – Soldier Field, Chicago

The Caleb Williams era kicks off under the Monday night lights as Chicago host NFC North rivals Minnesota in a high-stakes opener. With weapons like DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and rookie Rome Odunze, the Bears finally have the firepower to stretch defenses. The Vikings enter a rebuild phase post-Kirk Cousins, with questions at QB and a reshuffled secondary that could struggle to contain Chicago’s spread looks.

Chicago Bears to win
