Looking for Serie A Matchday 3 tips? We have you covered for all the action this weekend in Italy.
Serie A action returns this weekend after the first international break of the 2025-26 season, and there are some big games on the card for Matchday 3.
Old rivals Juventus and Inter Milan will clash in the marquee fixture, while Jamie Vardy is set to make his debut for the undefeated Cremonese when they take on Verona.
Below are our free soccer betting tips and predictions for Matchday 3 in Italy’s top division.
Saturday, September 13 – 3pm CEST – Unipol Domus
With Cagliari and Parma claiming one point apiece in their opening two matches, both teams head to Unipol Domus desperate for a win. Cagliari have the wood over the visitors in recent times, winning three of the last two encounters between the two sides. With home advantage, the hosts can register their first win of the season.
Saturday, September 13 – 6pm CEST – Allianz Stadium
Old rivals Juventus and Inter Milan will be looking to make an early-season statement when the two teams clash in Torino. Juve lose wingback Andrea Cambiaso through suspension, which could upset their defensive setup. With plenty of attacking weapons on both sides, goals are set to flow in Torino.
Saturday, September 13 – 8:45pm CEST – Stadio Artemio Franchi
Napoli head to Fiorentina looking to extend their perfect start to the 2025/26 Serie A season, and it is hard to see how they don’t walk away with all three points. They have won three of the past five clashes between the two sides and are yet to concede through two matches this campaign. With new signing Rasmus Hojlund set to debut, and with Scott McTominay and Kevin De Bruyne already gelling, Napoli look too good across the park.
Sunday, September 14 – 12:30pm CEST – Stadio Olimpico
It is hard to see Torino troubling Roma too much in Sunday’s opening fixture. Roma have won seven of their last eight matches in Serie A, and Torino are goalless this season while conceding five. Roma have won this tie to nil the last two times, and they should make it a hat-trick here.
Sunday, September 14 – 3pm CEST – Gewiss Stadium
Despite consecutive draws to begin the Serie A season, Atalanta should find their way onto the winners’ list when they meet Leece. The Orobici have managed to cover the handicap in two of their last three meetings with Lecce, and if they are to mount any form of title challenge this season, they must put in a commanding performance on Sunday.
Sunday, September 14 – 3pm CEST – Arena Garibaldi Romeo Anconetani
Considering Pisa and Udinese will meet for the first time on Sunday, it is hard to gather much of a read on either team. Udinese toppled Inter in dramatic scenes prior to the international break, while Pisa fell 1-0 to Roma after halving the points with Atalanta in their opening fixture. This shapes as a dour affair, and a draw looks more likely than not.
Sunday, September 14 – 6pm CEST – MAPEI Stadium
Lazio will look to continue their recent record against Sassuolo, having won four of their last five meetings. Boulaye Dia found the back of the net against Hellas Verona before the international break, and he managed to score in his only match against Sassuolo. At +160 with top sports betting sites, the Lazio forward looks like great value to score again.
Sunday, September 14 – 8:45pm CEST – Stadio Giuseppe Meazza
AC Milan and Bologna have hardly played in dour affairs in recent times, with three or more goals being scored in each of their last three encounters. On paper, Milan have too much firepower for this Bologna defense, with the likes of Christopher Nkunku, Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao set to give the visitors plenty of headaches.
Monday, September 15 – 6:30pm CEST – Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi
Cremonese have begun their season with two impressive victories and now have added the experience of Jamie Vardy up top. With Verona struggling to find the back of the net thus far, and with a patchy defense, Cremonese at +225 looks a great bet.
Monday, September 15 – 8:45pm CEST – Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia
Como are a different beast at home, winning four of their last five matches at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia — including a Matchday 1 triumph over Lazio. Genoa are yet to find the back of the net in either of their matches, and if recent trends continue, Como should justify their short quote in the final fixture.
