The NCAA Basketball season tips off on November 5 and Michigan State University boasts the top-ranked team in the nation, followed by the powerhouses of Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, and North Carolina. Let’s take a look at the latest NCAAB betting odds and futures markets for the upcoming campaign.

Michigan State Spartans

+140 at Nags.bet

Michigan State are the top-ranked team in the nation, and with good reason. They are loaded and have size, shooting, and a legendary coach in Tom Izzo. The Spartans have their two leading scorers back in Cassius Winston (18.8 ppg) and Joshua Langford (15 ppg), along with plenty of other veterans. This squad will feature prominently in March Madness 2020.

Kentucky Wildcats

+150 at Nags.bet

Kentucky are loaded once again and may have one of the best backcourt duos in the nation in Ashton Hagans and Tyrese Maxey. Forward EJ Montgomery only averaged 15 minutes of playing time last season, returning 3.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, and he may take a big step forward with PJ Washington gone. Nick Ward also saw limited action last season but has five-star potential. Maxey is a five-star incoming freshman that has massive potential as well.

Duke Blue Devils

+200 at Nags.bet

The Blue Devils lost a lot of talent with Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett, and Cam Reddish going pro, but guards Tra Jones and Alex O’Connell both return this season. Vernon Carey is the new star freshman for Duke and is widely regarded as a top-10 NBA draft prospect. While there is a lot of talent in this squad, no player returns that scored in double figures last season and Jones is the only player back that averaged more than four points a game.

Kansas Jayhawks

+225 at Nags.bet

Kansas are loaded but will have the cloud of an impending NCAA investigation looming over them this season. Udoka Azubuike is one of the best centers in the nation, Devon Dotson is one of the best point guards, and Ochai Agbaji is a possible breakout star. The Jayhawks have a lot of depth, but one concern is at the no.4 spot with no clear answer to take over for the departed Dedric Lawson.

North Carolina Tar Heels

+300 at Nags.bet

The UNC roster features one of the most anticipated freshman guards in Cole Anthony. The Tar Heels lost a lot of players over the summer and have a young group along with a couple of grad transfers in Justin Pierce and Christian Keeling, while Armando Bacot is another highly touted incoming freshman. North Carolina rank ninth in the nation and have the talent, but Roy Williams has to make them gel quickly.

Memphis Tigers

+350 at Nags.bet

Memphis legend Penny Hardaway takes over the reins as the Tigers welcome the nation’s top incoming freshman in James Wiseman, who is touted to be the top pick in the 2020 NBA draft. The Tigers boast the best-ranked incoming freshman class and their top seven players are freshmen, but that might be seen as a concern as much as a luxury.

Louisville Cardinals

+400 at Nags.bet

The Cardinals bring back ACC Player of the Year candidate Jordan Nwora an have come key veterans coming back. They also have a highly touted freshman in Chris Mack. They have issues at the PG position, however, while four-star incoming freshman David Johnson is dealing with an injury that could see him miss the start of the season.

Virginia Cavaliers

+140 at Nags.bet

Virginia won it all last season behind a great defensive team. The Cavaliers have lost a lot of key players from their title-winning side, but the defense should still be great and Mamadi Diakite and Jay Huff are one of the best frontcourt duos in the nation.
