Two huge matches from each conference will take place this Thursday in the NBA.

Both series are tied and could go either way after dramatic opening matches.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Brooklyn Nets Game 3 Tips

D’Angelo Russell Over 24.5 Points @ -106.38

The king of the court during this match-up has to be the leading point guard for the home side. No player is more important than the clutch D’Angelo Russell, who has dramatically improved his game since moving to the Brooklyn Nets. They upset the 76ers in game one in Philadelphia, so while they have the home advantage, the Nets will be the team to beat. The 76ers seem to need more time to gel together and create a winning formula, but the Nets already have very strong chemistry that will give them the victory.

Demarcus Cousins, the centre for the Warriors, will miss the remainder of the playoffs after tearing his quad. This injury gives many other players the opportunity to grab much more rebounds. Montrezl Harrell is a special player off the bench as he plays with the most energy on the court and loves to crash the boards, he will flourish for the Clippers in Cousins’ absence.

Draymond Green Over 8.5 Rebounds

On the Warriors’ list, Draymond Green will need to player  more minutes at the centre position to fill the Cousins void. Games one and two were very good for Green as he grabbed seven and nine rebounds, which will only increase for the rest of the playoffs.

The main catalyst during the 31-point Clippers comeback was the veteran scorer coming off the bench, Lou Williams. Williams scored 36 in the game 2 victory with a great mix of electric driving and outside jump shot. What we do know about the LA star is that when he’s hot, he can carry on that form for big stretches.

Golden State Warriors to Win @ -400

It was an embarrassment for the Warriors to drop a match in this series and they will respond strongly.

They are the favourite for the Championship and with good reason and even without Cousins, will get the job done here.
