Thanks to their superior goal differential, the Czechs simply need a draw against England to finish top of Group D. Having opened their campaign with a 2-0 win over Scotland in Glasgow, their 1-1 draw against Croatia was enough to take the ascendency in the group. Striker Patrik Schick has been the clear standout for the Czech Republic throughout their first two games, finding the back of the net on three occasions. Joraslav Silhavy’s side will prove hard to break down in defence, and a draw is certainly not out of the question.

Plenty of questions have been asked of Gareth Southgate and his England side following a stale 0-0 draw against arch-rivals Scotland in their last match. One of the pre-tournament favourites managed just one shot on target, seemingly lacking any firepower going forward despite having a plethora of attacking options.
