The NFL has slowly transitioned into an offensive league, which has seen wide receivers put up ridiculous numbers in recent seasons. There is more pass-catching talent in the league than ever before and it makes receiving yards futures somewhat unpredictable.
Last year’s leader and this year’s favorite, Cooper Kupp, is at +900 with Bovada to lead the league in receiving yards. When the favorite is +900, there should be value all over the board.
It just comes down to just picking the right guys. Here are our best bets for who will lead the league in receiving yards.
Justin Jefferson
Justin Jefferson is a 23-year-old receiver for the Minnesota Vikings and he has already established himself as an elite weapon. He had 1,616 receiving yards last year and is still improving as a talent. Jefferson is simply unguardable and he has completely earned the trust of his quarterback, Kirk Cousins. Jefferson is not competing with too many other players on the Vikings for targets, so he should get a ton of opportunities. Jefferson may be one of the favorites, but it’s for good reason.

Ceedee Lamb
Ceedee Lamb, like Jefferson, is a young wide receiver who is already considered elite. Lamb projects to be the number one target for Dak Prescott, and in a Cowboys offense that has traditionally thrown the ball a lot, he could have a historic season. Last year, Lamb had 1,102 yards with Amari Cooper on the team. Now, Cooper is on the Browns, and that should create even more opportunities for Lamb. At +1400, Lamb is one of the favorites, but he is in a great spot to lead the league in receiving yards.

Stefon Diggs
Stefon Diggs is the best receiver on the best offense in the NFL. He plays for the Buffalo Bills and has Josh Allen throwing him the ball. Based off that alone, he will be in contention to lead the league in receiving yards. Last year he only had 1,225 yards, but the previous year he led the league with 1,535 yards. Diggs can get open all over the field, and while the Bills have a lot of weapons, Allen has proven he will pepper his star receiver with opportunities. At around +1800 with most betting sites, Diggs is probably the best bet on the board. As long as he stays healthy, he will have another huge season.

D. J. Moore
D. J. Moore has been a consistent weapon for the Carolina Panthers, and while he hasn’t truly popped, he could become one of the best receivers in the NFL this coming season. Over the past three seasons, Moore has had at least 1,100 yards but has been let down by his quarterbacks. Now, the Panthers have Baker Mayfield, and while he isn’t an elite QB, he is better than anyone Moore has played with. At +3500, it’s a risky bet, but Moore could be in for his best season yet.

Courtland Sutton
Courtland Sutton is a receiver for the Denver Broncos who has had a couple down seasons due to bad QB play. Sutton had 1,112 yards in 2019, but he has struggled since then. Now, the Broncos have Russell Wilson, who will be far and away the best quarterback Sutton has ever played with. The Broncos have limited weapons at wide receiver because of an injury to Tim Patrick, but that should create more opportunities for Sutton. While Sutton hasn’t been an elite receiver, he looks poised to have a big year. If he can establish a rapport with Wilson, Sutton should have a huge season. At +5000, it’s worth a shot.
