NFL Week 14 best picks and top prop bets | Sunday, December 11

NFL football tips

The NFL is entering its final weeks and we have a crucial Week 14 ahead of us. This week’s Thursday Night game was a crazy finish where the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Las Vegas Raiders on the final play of the game. There should be more of that to come with the Sunday games and we have the best picks from the 11 games.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns

In this divisional battle, the Bengals should win another big home game. That being said, this is an interesting spot for the Browns and they hold all the value. The Bengals are coming off of an emotional win against the Kansas City Chiefs and the energy expounded in that game may come back to bite them. While the Bengals are the better team, the Browns destroyed this Bengals team in their earlier matchup and they have the talent to do it again. Also, the Browns finally got Deshaun Watson back and while he looked rusty at QB last week, he should be better in this battle. Although the Browns have been inconsistent, they should play their divisional rivals close in this spot and cover the number.

Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings

This is going to be a fun battle between two surprisingly solid teams. The Minnesota Vikings are 10-2 and having a great season but are still underdogs to this 5-7 Lions team that have won four of their past five battles. Neither team can stop anyone defensively and this should be a high-scoring affair. The Lions’ offense has been great at home all season and they are capable of lighting up the scoreboard. On the other side of the field, the Vikings should be able to move the ball with ease in this game and the Lions’ defense has been subpar all season. All in all, the over is the play in this contest where each team could hit the 30 point mark.

Justin Jefferson is in the midst of an unbelievable season and now, he has a matchup with the aforementioned Lions defense. The Vikings wide receiver has established himself as one of the best receivers in the world and he has seven touchdowns this season. With the Vikings slated to take on the Lions, they should have a ton of redzone opportunities and that is where Jefferson thrives. Take him to score in a game that has the highest over/under on the board this week.

Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs

In this contest between the 9-3 Kansas City Chiefs and the 3-9 Denver Broncos we are taking — the 3-9 Broncos. While that may be confusing, there is value on this bad Broncos team. First of all, they are a home underdog in a divisional battle and those stipulations always favor the home team. Also, the Broncos have the best defense in the league and while they won’t shut down the elite Chiefs offense, they will limit them more than other teams. If that happens, the terrible Broncos offense may actually be able to score enough to cover this number. While the Broncos have a historically bad offense, they can score on a bad Chiefs defense and if Denver’s defense holds, we could have the upset of the season brewing. Of course, we aren’t calling for a Broncos win but we do think they can play within the number and considering Denver’s defense, they should be within nine all game.

Denver Broncos +9.5

Dallas Cowboys vs Houston Texans

Well, the Houston Texans take their league-worst rushing defense to Dallas to take on a great rushing offense. This could get ugly. The Cowboys are 9-3 and have reached those heights on the back of their two running backs, Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott’s odds to score are -140 and Pollards are at -115. While it’s certainly possible that both backs score, we are going to side with Pollard here. Pollard has 10 touchdowns this season and he should score another here. The Texans can’t stop anyone from running all over them and this bet is capitalizing on that fact.

Tony Pollard Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Los Angeles Chargers vs Miami Dolphins

This is going to be a fascinating Sunday Night feature. The 6-6 Chargers will host the 8-4 Dolphins in a game that should feature a lot of points. While the Dolphins have been the more consistent team all season, the Chargers are finally getting healthy and star wide receiver Mike Williams should be back for this game. This will give Los Angeles an extra boost in this game and their offense should move the ball with ease against a bad Dolphins defense. While the Dolphins’ offense will score, the Chargers are getting healthy at the right time and we will take the home underdogs in this spot.

Los Angeles Chargers +3.5
