The English Premier League promises to deliver a number of thrilling matches this weekend on the return from international fixtures. We combine our best bets in a free parlay tip.

EPL Week 17

A lot has changed since Match Week 16, and a lot more could possibly change given the pendulum-like nature of the matches lined up this weekend in the English Premier League.

Champions Manchester City will welcome Everton to the Etihad in the first action of the weekend, while Tottenham Hotspur will be playing on home turf against Burnley.

Chelsea will be away to Brighton & Hove Albion in first piece of action on Sunday, with Unai Emery’s Gunners similarly playing on the road against Southampton.

By far the most anticipated game of the weekend will see Liverpool play host to Manchester United in an encounter that ranks as one of the oldest rivalries in English football.

Parlay leg 1 – Manchester City vs. Everton

Saturday, December 15 – 12:30p.m Local time – Etihad Stadium, Manchester, United Kingdom

Pep Guardiola is the kind of manager who would throw a tantrum if his reserve team lost a “meaningless” friendly. It’s practically impossible to be an elite manager without being a bad loser. This explains why the Manchester City boss was livid at the final whistle after his seemingly unbeatable side fell to a disheartening 2-0 defeat away to Chelsea last weekend.

The loss, their first of the campaign, meant that the champions slipped to second on the log—albeit a meager point behind leaders Liverpool.

Given that Jurgen Klopp is scheduled to line up his charges this weekend against a manager as ominous as Jose Mourinho, Manchester City would do best to reap maximum points from their match with Everton; hoping that results in Anfield will play out to their liking.

Prediction: Man City to win – -416.67 at Nags.bet

Parlay leg 2 – Tottenham Hotspur vs. Burnley

Saturday, December 15 – 3:00p.m Local time – Wembley Stadium, London, United Kingdom

Tottenham Hotspur is penciled to play host to Sean Dyche’s Burnley on Saturday afternoon. Despite being utterly ripped apart during the North London derby at the beginning of this month, Spurs have since overtaken their sworn cross-city rivals to move third on the table—with this largely facilitated by their comfortable 2-0 victory over Leicester City last weekend.

They may have had a draining midweek outing in Barcelona, one that paid massive dividends as Spurs qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side should do just enough to tame the Clarets.

Prediction: Spurs to win – -500 at Nags.bet

Parlay leg 3 – Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Chelsea

Sunday, December 16- 1:30p.m Local time – Amex Stadium, Sussex, United Kingdom

Chelsea exhibited one of the most impressive performances of the Maurizio Sarri era when they blitzed past Premier League holders and title favorites Manchester City with a 2-0 win last weekend.

The result elevated the Blues, who are currently without Champions League football, to fourth on the table on 34 points, above fifth-placed Arsenal on goal difference.

Seeing as Sarri’s priority is to secure top flight European football for next season, the Italian tactician should inspire his side to victory on their trip to Sussex, as the outcome would give great credence to their win over City.

Prediction: Chelsea to win – -217.39 at Nags.bet

Parlay leg 4 – Southampton vs. Arsenal

Sunday, December 16 – 1:30p.m Local time – St. Mary’s Stadium, Southampton, United Kingdom

Arsenal will travel to the South coast this weekend for a Premier League match against Southampton. The Gunners extended their unbeaten run to 22 games in all competitions after an Alexandre Lacazette goal inspired them to a 1-0 victory when they hosted Qarabag in the Europa League.

Despite playing on Thursday night, the Gunners will quite assuredly fancy their chances when the play against a Southampton side second from bottom.

Prediction: Arsenal to win – -103.09 at Nags.bet

Parlay leg 5 – Liverpool vs. Manchester United

Sunday, December 16 – 4:00p.m Local time – Anfield, Liverpool, United Kingdom

Tempers are bound to simmer up and boil over whenever these two sides meet, and why not, given that the North Western based clubs are two of the most successful teams in English football. Liverpool will be looking to cling onto their place on top of the table when they welcome Manchester United in the final match of the weekend, whereas the Red devils will be pushing for an outcome that will favor their belated quest for a top four finish.

The hosts head into the encounter the better side as they currently lead the log and are unbeaten thus far in the league, but seeing as the match will be played in Anfield, “The Special One” will either have a trick up sleeve or completely shut shop in the encounter.

Prediction: Total Goals Under 2.5 – +127 at Nags.bet
