Liverpool will be hoping to extend their impressive unbeaten run when they travel to Hertfordshire this weekend to take on Watford in Matchweek 28 of the 2019-20 English Premier League season.

Watford team news

The Hornets could welcome the return of Spanish defender Kiko Femenia, who has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury against Wolverhampton Wanderers in December, but right-back Daryl Janmaat may need another week to fully recovering from a knee injury.

Liverpool team news

Veteran midfielder James Milner continues to nurse a muscle injury suffered in early January, while Xherdan Shaqiri has also been ruled out due to a recurring a calf problem.

Skipper Jordan Henderson will miss the trip to Vicarage Road having limped off with a hamstring injury during the defeat to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

With four goals in his last four Premier League appearances, Salah has a great chance of increasing his tally against a Hornets side who have conceded 11 goals in their last five games in all competitions.

Winners of last season’s UEFA Champions League, Liverpool have replicated their majestic European form in the EPL with 26 wins from 27 outings. Given the stark difference between these two sides, and the fact the Reds are 15-0 up on the Hornets in their last four meetings, one wouldn’t expect anything less than a regal performance by the champions-elect.
