FanDuel And DraftKings Enter Agreement With Turner Sports
Major US sports betting sites FanDuel and DraftKings have announced separate agreements with broadcasting giant Turner Sports. FanDuel negotiated exclusive access to Turner Sports’ NBA programming. DraftKings will get access to all sports programming, excluding the NBA.
Turner Sports is one of the United States’ foremost sports broadcasters. The company has TNT live telecasts, Bleacher Report digital channels, and the Bleacher Report app. FanDuel and DraftKings will be the exclusive sportsbook operators for all Turner Sports media content.
It’s a multi-year agreement that firmly positions the two betting operators as key players in the booming bookmaker industry. It also allows Turner Sports to remain relevant in the age of online betting.

England Invited By Pakistan To Play In 2021 Limited-Overs Cricket Tour
The English national cricket team has been officially invited by Pakistan to a limited-overs tour in the South Asian nation. Set to begin in early 2021, the tour would be the first time England has played Pakistan since 2005. The two aren’t otherwise slated to face each other until 2022.
Pakistan spent over a decade without hosting a single Test cricket tour. After a traumatic armed attack on the Sri Lankan team in 2009, the nation all but retired from hosting cricket events. It reopened the door for limited-overs matches in 2015, holding a few full tours since 2019.
England hasn’t yet confirmed whether it will accept the invitation. The team will have to weigh sizeable concerns regarding player health and safety in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nigerian Midfielder Victor Moses Joins Spartak Moscow On Loan From Chelsea
Victor Moses may go down in history as one of Chelsea’s most-transferred players. The Nigerian midfielder is now on loan to Spartak Moscow until the end of the season. It’s a move that mirrors much of the 29-year-old African player’s recent history.
Moses first signed on with Chelsea in 2012. In the eight years since, he’s been loaned more than six times to various teams across the globe. Just last season, Moses played for Turkey’s Fenerbahce and Italy’s Inter Milan.
The loan agreement to Spartak reportedly includes an option to buy. Inter’s Antonio Conte had previously sought to buy out Moses’ contract, but went another way in the end.

Narvaez Dominates A Rainy Stage 12 Of The Giro D’Italia
Ecuadorian cyclist Jhonatan Narvaez prevailed over the competition on the 12th stage of the Giro D’Italia, under harsh weather. The 23-year-old athlete beat second-best Mark Padun by over a minute, and third-place Simon Clarke by six minutes.
Still, Narvaez’s stellar stage 12 performance wasn’t enough to crack the top 10 of the general classification. Portuguese cyclist Joao Almeida leads the overall ranking. Almeida managed a top 10 finish in Group 12 as well, nabbing the 9th place.
Almeida is one of the favorites to win the competition, according to most Giro D’Italia betting sites. The Italian leg of the Grand Tour races will finish in Milan on October 25.

Ronaldo Praises Neymar After Historic Milestone
Brazil recently defeated Peru by 4-2 in a 2022 World Cup Qualifier match that saw Neymar score a hat trick. This feat caused the 28-year-old Brazilian to surpass the legendary Ronaldo Nazário in the country’s list of top goal scorers. Now, he’s within striking distance of all-time great Pelé.
Ronaldo scored 62 goals in 98 games, making him slightly more effective than Neymar, at 64 goals in 103 games. Both fall tremendously short of Pelé’s unrivaled 77 goals in 92 games, though. After news broke of Neymar’s new position on the list, Ronaldo sent him a message.
“All my respect for you, @neymarjr ! He plays a lot, gives assistances, touches, dribbles, and scores. The sky is the limit,” wrote Nazário on Instagram. “What a beautiful story you are writing. A well-rounded and increasingly mature player”.

Groin Injury Will Cost Rabbitohs’ Campbell Graham NRL Semi-Finals
NRL South Sydney Rabbitohs coach Wayne Bennett has confirmed that star centre Campbell Graham won’t be playing the preliminary finals match. The team will have to do without Graham when they face the Penrith Panthers on October 17 at ANZ Stadium.
In his place, the Rabbitohs will be counting on Jed Cartwright as a starter. Cartwright, a former Panther himself, would face many of his former teammates. It’s a crushing development for South Sydney and will definitely take its toll on NRL betting.
Regardless, coach Bennet is adamant that Cartwright is up to the task. The 23-year-old player joined the Rabbitohs mid-season, after spending a year with the Panthers.

All Blacks Lineup Changes Revealed Following First Bledisloe Cup Match
After a disappointing first test in the Rugby Union Bledisloe Cup, New Zealand’s Ian Foster has revealed a new team lineup. Rieko Ioane will be on the bench for the next match, following his costly blunder against the Wallabies.
Instead, several players will be debuting with the team for the match. They include Caleb Clarke, Alex Hodgman, and Tupo Vaa’i. That’s just the tip of the iceberg of the changes to the lineup, though. Nepo Laulala and Codie Taylor will be getting benched as well.
In their place, Foster is putting in hooker Dane Coles and Patrick Tuipulotu. Scott Barrett will also be rejoining the team after a prolonged injury.
