Max Verstappen shatters record with 10th consecutive F1 win

Max Verstappen creates history by winning 10 consecutive Formula 1 races, breaking Sebastian Vettel’s record, in an action-packed 2023 Italian Grand Prix.

In a thrilling Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing made history by clinching his 10th consecutive Formula 1 race victory, breaking the previous record held by Sebastian Vettel. The race was nothing short of drama, with Verstappen starting from second position and relentlessly pursuing pole-sitter Carlos Sainz of Ferrari.

Verstappen’s pursuit of Sainz began on lap six, but it took until lap 15 for him to finally overtake. Sainz, who had a strong start, locked up at Rettifilo, allowing Verstappen to capitalize and seize the lead. From that point on, Verstappen extended his lead and secured the win with style.

Meanwhile, Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez, engaged in a fierce battle for the podium positions. Perez managed to secure second place with just five laps to go, leaving Sainz struggling to fend off his Ferrari teammate, Charles Leclerc, in the closing stages of the race.
