Auburn won their opening game, but they only beat Georgia Southern by nine points when they were 14.5-point favorites. Samir Doughty, with 20 points, led four players for the Tigers that went for double digits.
Davidson will play well in this game and show their balance across the court. Even facing a top 25 team in Auburn, the Wildcats will win and cover the spread.

Kansas started the season as the third-ranked team in the country, but they will surely drop after their opening 68-66 loss to Duke. You would think that the Jayhawks would then maul UNC Greensboro at home to get their first win of the season.
Not so fast. The Spartans won 29 games last season and were a snub for the Big Dance. They easily won their season opener, where four Spartans scored in double figures.
Kansas are loaded and held Duke to only 35.9% shooting in their season-opening loss, but they committed 28 turnovers. While UNCG are solid, Kansas are at Allen Fieldhouse and will take out the Duke frustration by crushing the Spartans and covering the big spread.

This is Washington’s first game of the season. While not ranked, they have a couple of young studs in freshmen Isaiah Stewart and Jaden McDaniels, who are projected NBA draft picks. For all the upside, however, the Huskies have a lot of growing to do with a new team that has not had a lot of time to gel.

Baylor lit up the scoreboard in their season-opener, easily beating Central Arkansas 105-61. Jared Butler led the team with 30 points and the sophomore guard may be poised for a breakout season. The Bears have balance and a legitimate chance to go far in Big 12 play with the talent they have.
The Huskies are without five of their top six scorers from last season, when they won the Pac 12 and made the Big Dance. Washington’s young talent will come through in this non-conference matchup and they will at least cover the spread.
