India’s tour of the West Indies has provided multiple entertaining ODI and T20 matches, but now they will lock horns in their first taste of the ICC World Test Championship.

The two-match series will start Thursday, August 22 at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua, where the Windies have won four out of seven matches.

India are yet to lose a match against the West Indies in this series, with the closest result being the third T20 game, where the Windies went down in the final over.

Virat Kohli has been exceptional in almost every innings he has entered, averaging 234 in the ODI matches thanks to back-to-back centuries.

The young top-order batsman has only recently broken into the West Indies Test squad. At the age of 22, Hetmyer is a very capable player that can single-handedly impact matches. He is yet to have a breakout performance at Test level, but the runs are there if his defence holds up against Jasprit Bumrah and company.
